Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef Official Trailer

Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef Official Trailer – Seen on Netflix

Netflix’s Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef is a live streamed special that reignites the legendary rivalry between competitive eating icons Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi. Broadcast on September 2, 2024, from the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, this event marked their first head-to-head competition in 15 years.

The main event featured a 10-minute hot dog eating contest with unique rules: no separating hot dogs from buns and no dunking in water. Joey Chestnut emerged victorious, consuming 83 hot dogs and setting a new world record under these conditions, while Kobayashi finished with 66 hot dogs in what he announced as his final competitive appearance.

The event also included undercard matches, such as competitive eater Matt Stonie facing off against three Olympians in a chicken wing contest, and Leah Shutkever setting a Guinness World Record by eating 2.4 kilograms of watermelon in three minutes.

Hosted by Rob Riggle and Nikki Garcia, with commentary from Cari Champion and Chris Rose, the event combined sportsmanship and entertainment, culminating in Chestnut receiving a custom WWE championship belt presented by Rey Mysterio and Omos.
